How do you buy a home?

Occasionally, a person might ask me “how do you buy a home?”. That is a great question!
In the following weeks, I’ll be posting short steps on what to do. You can share with your friends or children to help them get started.
 
One of the first things to do is to start saving. Don’t overspend. Instead, put some money in your piggy bank.
 
Saving is a great exercise on discipline and it will help you have a nest egg for items or maintenance/repairs after you purchase a home, even if you purchase a home with zero downpayment.  (We’ll cover some ways to buy a home with no money down!)
