Another famous beach on the North Shore is Ehukai Beach, which locals call ‘Banzai Pipeline’. It is one of the most distinguished surfing spots available and plays host to the surfing triple crown which comprises the Reef Hawaiian Pro, the O’Neill World Cup, and the Billabong Pipeline Masters.
There are plenty of activities to enjoy and include fishing, horseback riding, jet skiing, powered hang gliding, and scuba diving.
The North Shore has a number of parks available for your enjoyment. Kualoa Regional Park, Kaaawa Beach Park, Punaluu Beach Park, Swanzy Beach Park, Hauula Beach Park, Pounders Beach, Malaekahana State Park, and Haieiwa Beach Park are all family friendly and available year round for your enjoyment.
Also home to the Waimea Valley Audubon Center, Pu’u O Mahuka Heiau State Monument, Polynesian Cultural Center, and the Dole Plantation there are many activities to enjoy.
